A note from our Founder, Christopher Stringer about this update:

Cell Alpha is a speaker built for the future, designed with an OS as a platform to continually deliver new features and enhance our customers' experiences. Today, the Syng experience takes a major step forward with a substantial spatial audio update to Syng OS and the Syng Space App. When I founded Syng, I made a commitment to be able to play any audio format on demand, anywhere, and beautifully. With the release of Syng Space 2.1, that commitment is now fully realized in effortlessly playing all spatial content.

Spatial audio formats, like 5.1 or 7.1.4, typically require up to 12 carefully positioned speakers. With Syng Cells, these formats are perfectly reproduced with as few as one Cell, or up to just five, casually placed in any space. There is no 'correct' place to play spatial music and movie soundtracks from my iPhone or iPad. Only Syng has the dexterity to move the performance to me for the most intimate experience, or to push it out to envelop my entire space with sound - and it's always immersive.

In the Syng Space app, you move the sound, not the speakers, in real time with a simple touch. It's like having a thousand speakers in your home!

ABOUT SYNG:
